eh This is the first I've heard of Valac and I can confidently say "I get it". He uses the wall of sound as if it were some sort of unholy rite. Good stuff! Favorite track: Through the Womb of Dissolution.

Metallurgical Fire There is thrown together raw black metal that makes a point of sounding shitty, and there is intelligent and nuanced raw black metal that completely captivates the motivated listener. Valac is the latter. Favorite track: Through the Womb of Dissolution.

darkenedspirit (Midgard_OBM) We feel always this dementia on the albums from Valac, but this time with a melancholic touch and some ambient passages. In the whole, this is purely demonic and dark, sublimate by a great artwork and strangely this is musically near from Revenant Marquis with a production always raw but so to speak more tortured and with a blacker atmosphere. Or else, primitive, sick, and filthy to wish! Nothing to throw in the discography of this awesome band.
